Bob Pattie – Trumpet, vocals.
Bob is an exciting trumpet player who performs with infectious enthusiasm. He is also an expert music teacher and brass band musician, and conducts the Ballarat City Band.

Michael McQuaid – Clarinet, saxophone.
Mike is a young man with a prodigious talent on reeds and cornet, with an encyclopaedic knowledge of classic jazz. He is in great demand as a soloist and is lifting the band's music to new heights.

Rob Moffat – Trombone, vocals.
The newest member of the band, Rob already impresses many with his powerful playing and tasteful vocals.

David Robison
– Banjo.
Dave’s driving style
is reminiscent of the great rhythm banjo players. He played with
Tom Baker’s San Francisco Jazz Band, one of the finest jazz bands
Australia has produced.

Bob
Franklin – Piano.
Bob plays with a rocking
style that really adds punch to the band. With extensive experience
in jazz and classical music, Bob adds another dimension to the
band repertoire with his expert Ragtime solos.

Fred
Clark – Tuba, bass.
Fred’s tuba lays the
perfect foundation for the band. He has a great understanding
of music, being a qualified classical conductor. In addition to
his activities with the Creole Bells, Fred is President of the
Darebin City Band and a connoisseur of fine Scotch.

Sandra Talty – Drums, Vocals.
Definitely not just a pretty face, Sandra is a young singer with the voice that recalls the big band vocalists of the 1920s and 30s. She admits to being as happy behind the drums as a microphone, and her light percussive style has added a new dimension to the band's rhythm.

Jason Downes – Clarinet, Alto
Jason appears with Creole Bells when we upgrade to a two cornet front line. He is a hot, inventive player and the perfect foil for Michael when they get together on those back-room numbers.
